COBRA is a computer-designed bridge bidding system, developed by E. T. Lindelof. Here is a COBRA system summary which includes the publisher's address for ordering the book.

I tested the COBRA system on the 1987 World Championship hands, and through 48 boards (reviewing a previous test more carefully), I have found that it bid about 1/2 IMP a board worse than the experts. Lindelof claimed much better results testing it on the 1959 Bermuda Bowl, bidding by computer rather than with the book description; I cannot test this. Here is a summary of the test and a sample hand from the test.
